Here at Koalaty, we are always looking for new and more eco-friendly ways to do things! Whilst our first editions do utilise eco-friendly sources of bamboo for the arms, we've constantly looked to take that one step further!
That's why we are super stoked to introduce our First Ever Fully Bamboo Pair in the form of our Kiwi Edition sunnies!
Since our launch in 2019, we've experienced tremendous support from the amazing folks across the ditch in New Zealand! To celebrate that, we thought it was about time to introduce a Kiwi inspired edition!
Not only that, $5 from every pair does go towards Kiwi conservation thanks to the amazing people at Kiwis for Kiwi. Whilst we aren't affiliated with this group, we do support the amazing work they are doing when it comes to protecting the national bird of New Zealand.
Each pair comes with polarised lenses, a cleaning cloth, compact case, and a category 3, UV 400 rating!

Did you know that $5 from every pair of Kiwi Edition sunnies goes towards protecting Kiwis?
For us, we don't just want to create some devilishly good sunglasses at a ridiculous price - we want to help create some real change. Alone there isn't much we can do, but together we can make a difference.
When looking into Kiwi conservation, there was one organisation that we immediately liked - Kiwis for Kiwi. Kiwis for Kiwi assists in a variety of ways - from increasing public awareness about the issues facing the Kiwi bird, to working alongside Kiwi experts in order to provide the best possible support in order to save the national bird.
Whilst we aren't affiliated with these guys in any way, we are more than happy to be donating $5 from every pair to their work and efforts.
If you're after more information on Kiwis for Kiwi, or simply want to donate directly to them, we do encourage you to check them out athttps://www.kiwisforkiwi.org/
